Such situations are being noticed in the cases of other special Acts also. It is also noticed that most of the other Special Acts have concurrent jurisdictions with FEMA and PMLA. The Govt. Agencies other than ED are also working under the similar pattern, raising worries, so far not resolved adequately.
Thus an integrated strategy and approach have been need of the time and for the persons facing any probe in ED and other organizations. .
The overlapping situations both in the Govt. organizations and in the Courts have been common. These are although being simplified through judicial review process but for limited purposes. Thus, probe by the Agencies are still left with wide range of discretion. Therefore, issues are to be looked into at one platform equipped for integrated solution of various laws by the experts of the relevant fields.
Sh. Kamal Singh has been in ED since 1983 to 2018 holding various positions and assignments before retirement in 2018, as Deputy Director. He was Consultant in ED up-to 2019.
Kamal Singh has worked in ED, briefly as an investigator and analyzer in monitoring of investigations of the cases of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Southern states offices of ED. He was investigator / coordinator / representative before the Organizations/ Agencies and in Courts, having multiple jurisdictions in India and overseas bases. These cases are not named for the sake of confidentiality, however, in brief, these are scam cases of national importance, PEP cases ,bank fraud cases and sensitive matters dealt in co- ordination with national and international agencies.
Kamal Singh thus has experience of the decades to give legal advice / integrated solutions and effectively render legal advice and represent before the Agencies, autonomous bodies and courts for the
overseas and domestic persons, relating to FEMA and PMLA and other conjugated issues of other Agencies with the ALC team comprised of experienced CAs, Bank Auditors, Forensic Auditors and Advocates.
Thus, the team ALC is equipped adequately to provide integrated strategy , solutions and representations to domestic and overseas individuals and companies , banks under probe by the Agencies , NBFCs , insurance companies and Trusts etc , on FEMA , PMLA and other related special Acts along with exclusive periodical screening of the pre and post transactions from PMLA and FEMA perspectives.
